Media Services

MPG provides our clients with complete media management versus merely buying their media. Everything starts with a customized media strategy that is consistent with the client's business goals, overall positioning and creative approach. Armed with years of experience and the knowledge coming from buying in so many markets, our buyers are tenacious negotiators, working exhaustively for the lowest rates possible. Utilizing sophisticated software and a wide range of media research sources, we are able to develop better targeted, more effective media plans.

MPG buyers are continuously searching for exciting promotional events and sponsorship opportunities. In some cases, our buyers work with the media to design an event for a client that is specifically tailored to meet their unique business goals. Since many of these opportunities are offered at little or no cost, they serve to further stretch the overall impact of a campaign.

Finally, through aggressive auditing and post-buy analysis, we work to ensure the maximum efficiency of each media buy --- providing exhaustive follow-through well after the advertising has run.

Creative Services

While our primary business is media management, our principals spent over 25 years, collectively, working with some of the country's largest advertising agencies, leading the creative development process for multi-million dollar ad campaigns to support their brand marketing efforts. Because of this, many of our clients ask MPG to become involved in the creative development process as well.

We can participate in developing the creative strategy, supervise production or lead the entire process. In fact, in some cases, we serve as a "full-service" advertising agency, providing complete, turnkey creative solutions --- from the development of a positioning statement and "unique selling proposition" to the production of effective television, radio or print advertising.


Consulting

We offer clients several consulting services to complement our media management expertise. MPG works with clients to develop or refine their overall marketing plan, including a review of marketing and sales strategies, an assessment of market research needs and a thorough review of executional alternatives. MPG can develop and conduct market research to define or refine a client's target audience or evaluate the effectiveness of their advertising.

MPG can conduct independent audits of current advertising programs to make certain they are being planned and executed effectively. Plans are reviewed and reconciled against invoices to ensure advertising ran correctly. Invoices are scrutinized to confirm there was acceptable spot rotation and spot separation and that all promised make-goods were delivered in equivalent (or better) programming. Post-buy analyses are conducted, if necessary, to identify and correct any weight under delivery. Finally, MPG will make specific recommendations for improving the plans in the future. Through these audits, MPG has saved some clients thousands of dollars --- after the fact.

Some clients (and even one ad agency) have come to us to train their in-house media buyers. In this case, we can develop a customized training program for the client's staff to ensure ongoing quality plan development and execution.
